I am having trouble with my HP printer. Laserjet Pro 400 M401n I always have to hit print twice. The first time I always get an error message that says the printer could not print. Then I open the dialog box, select the print job, and hit restart – then it prints. Other times I cannot get it to print at all.
It would have been great if you have share the error message, troubleshooting the issue will be much better to resolve it. I can provide a basic simple steps to begin with this issue.
Perform a power reset- with the printer switched on, remove the power cable from the back of the printer, wait for 30 seconds and reconnect it back to the printer and retry.
Update the firmware of the printer- visit the hp support site and download/install the latest firmware for the printer
