When I print it shows status as ‘Error – Printing’
Have restarted both printer and computer nothing works!
I was tired of getting the Printer error Epson WF 4640 on my screen. Especially when you have a printer installed at your workplace you want it to work smoothly so that no essential work goes on hold. I called up my regular technician and have a look at the issue. Since he was out of town he guided with me an easy fix. I kept trying but I am a bit technologically challenged which made the entire process more difficult. I thought of looking for the solution myself and was glad to find a quick one with this below blog guide

You may try checking that the printer heads are not dirty. While it can be very useful at times to restart your Epson device, these parts may have gained a lot of dirt or dust. Hence, despite restarting your computer or printer, you may still find the not printing error. Check the Maintenance tab in Printing Preferences from your Windows PC and start cleaning the print head.
