“I have an HP photosmart 6150 and I recently changed my black ink, and aligned the printer but the alignment failed and the printer is mechanically processing but there is no ink on the paper. I’m not sure why, are you able to help? I have an old ink cartridge and the new one. they are both HP 564,The old says XL below the 564 and the new does not, would that make a difference?

While you were placing the cartridges, an error may have occurred. You can correct the placement first of all. Then if you are suspicious about the cartridges, please ask the manufacturer to check whether they are genuine.
