I need help because I cant remember my password for windows went to settings THEN ACCOUNTS AND SIGN IN TO MICROSOFT ACCOUNT AND NOW I FORGOT THE CURRENT WINDOWS PASSWORD
Make sure your computer is connected to the internet while you are trying to login. If you forgot your microsoft account password, go to https://account.live.com/password/reset , select i forgot my password, click next. On the recover your account, type the characters displayed and then next. On the Verify your identity, choose to receive your security code either as a text or email message. If you choose via SMS text, type the last four digits of your phone number that you registered with, and then select Send Code. Enter the code and then select Next. On the Reset your password, create your new password, select Next. Your new password is now created. Select Next again to return to the sign-in Sign in with your new Microsoft account password.
