I have an OfficeJet Pro 8625, which communicates wirelessly with my computer (Windows 10). Very often when I choose to print, it indicates that the printer is offline. in order to subvent this, I use the HP Print Doctor to “fix” the problem, which it usually does, thought I have to reboot first. This is a big pain in the neck. Although my wife’s computer connects wirelessly to the same printer, she never has had this problem

I had the same problem the last time when I changed my wifi user name and password. I had to use hp print and scan doctor but it never resolved the problem, each time I tried to reprint after shutting down the printer or my computer, I had to do the same thing, run the scan. For me I found a online solution, I hope this helps you too. First restart your printer spooler, press the windows logo key and R, enter services.msc and hit enter. On your keyboard press P to fast locate Printer Spooler and restart the service by right clicking on it and restart. Next check your printer status, on your keyboard press windows logo key and I, click devices select Printer and Devices, right click on your printer and click See what’s printing. Select printer on the top left and if you see a tick mark next to use printer offline or pause printing, uncheck it. all the best
