We have a laserjet pro 400 printer that I would like to change the energy saver on. It keeps going to sleep after a few days the printer queue backs up. The system settings is prompting for a password. Is there a default password to get into these settings?
it’s over an Ethernet cable

– To change the settings of the printer sleep mode,  select System Setup on the printer LCD screen and press OK.
Select Energy Settings and press OK.
Use the arrows to select Shut Down After and press OK.
Use the arrows to select Never and press OK.
This way the printer will never go to sleep mode / standby mode

– If you want to set a particular amount of time before your printer goes to sleep mode/ standby mode. Follow this steps
Select Energy Settings and press OK.
Use the arrows to select Sleep/Auto Off After and press OK.
Use the arrows to set the Sleep Delay/Auto Off After to 1 hour and press OK.
You can set this settings to either 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour.
