my hp officejet 4500 wireless does not give me an option to scan

Use the HP Solution Center to set the Scan option on the printer main control menu. On the Windows search bar, type HP Solution Center and open the software. Search for Scan Settings and click in it. select on Scan to Set-up. select the available Scan shortcut and then click Add to add the Scan shortcut to the printer main control panel.
